The purposes of zoning are to regulate land use, prevent land'use conflict, and allow growth to occur in a rational manner.

The zoning board of commissioners meets at 6:30 P.M. on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Jackson Township House.

Zoning Fees
Zoning Certificate Application Fee:(additions or accessory buildings) $40.00 or $80.00 if not obtained from the Zoning Inspector before construction begins.
Zoning Certificate Application Fees for New Construction Requiring new Well and Septic: $200.00 or $400.00 if not obtained before construction begins
Request for Interpretation, Variance, or Appeal to the Board of Zoning Appeals: $200.00
Zoning Amendment Application Fee: $200.00
Conditional Use Application Fee: $50.00
